What you see – Real Bakery in Chandigarh is a popular haunt among students and residents of Sector 15. Easy to spot and with a rather cute signboard, the bakery is medium sized and done up in bright colors. There is no seating space available which makes the bakery more of a traditional kind. Well lit, the display counter exhibits the bakery’s freshly baked stuff.

What you get – Real Bakery is popular for its good quality baked items. You won’t really find it empty anytime of the day. The bakery stocks cakes, pastries, biscuits, chocolates and more.

Their cakes have a good range in terms of flavors and price. A simple chocolate cake would come for Rs.150. You can also place orders for customized birthday or wedding cakes here and they could also deliver them but for an additional charge. They sell pastries as well which are priced from Rs. 25. Brownies, Rum balls, butter cakes and pies are there too.

Real Bakery also has pizzas and burgers apart from rolls for Rs. 25 and above. The chicken roll and cheese burger are good options. They also store various brands of chocolates and baked biscuits. You can get chocolate biscuits (Rs. 60 per kg), Zeera namkeen biscuits (Rs. 48), Til pede (Rs. 80), Plain kaju (cashewnut) biscuits (Rs. 48), Cake rusk (Rs. 60) and Plain rusk (Rs. 48) here.

Our verdict – Real Bakery is a regular neighborhood bakery. What they offer tastes good and is worth the price. The place is neat and clean and the service is quite quick. There are no seating arrangements, but you can either stand there and eat or just walk to the park opposite it and enjoy your grub. Parking space is available and the location is easy to find.
