What you see - The Other Store is a well-known outlet that deals in branded wear in Sector 17 of Chandigarh. Popularly known as TOS, it is spread across an area of about 6,000 square feet and incorporates two floors of branded family clothing.
What you get - The entire ground floor covers the men’s section including attires, shoes, socks, ties, cufflinks and lots more. Pepe Jeans, Levi’s, Lee, Wrangler, Spykar, Octave, Puma, Fahrenheit, Nike, Zodiac, Tycoon, Sierra Leonne and Van Heusen are some of the brands available here. Beautiful designer kurtas starting from Rs. 599 are available too. Sherwanis with chikan work, Semi Sherwanis with Rajputi patterns, Angrakhas and more are worth a look. Sherwanis are priced from Rs. 12,885.
The floor above has women’s wear and kids’ wear. The collection at TOS in Chandigarh is definitely trendy offering great designs and styles. Jeans, capris, skirts, tops, kurtis, halter necks, trousers and even lingerie are available here. Brands include VIBE, Pepe Jeans, Levi’s, Lee, Madame, Puma, Peach, KRAFT and more. The Other Store in Chandigarh has a wide range of kurtis available in different fabrics like georgette, chiffon, silk, georgette silk etc, all starting from Rs. 799. Custom fit salwar kurtas starting from Rs. 1,999 are also a must-try.
The same floor has kids’ wear too for girls and boys within the age group of 0 – 14. The best of brands like Little Kangaroos, Gini & Jony, Adidas, Drop, Urban 10 and more are available. People can choose from a selection including skirts, tops, jeans, party wear, capris, bibs, shirts, T-shirts etc. There is a separate section for teens as well. Denim wear, cargo pants, T-shirts, jackets, tops and more are available from Rs. 599 and for girls, designer ghaghra cholis can also be obtained from Rs. 2,000 onwards.
Our verdict – TOS is a great place for family shopping. Prices are slightly on the higher side but the brands available are reputed. Besides, the ethnic wear is a must-see. These come in unique designs and are good even for weddings. Trial rooms are available. Customer support is efficient. TOS also offers gift vouchers for those who wish to gift but are not sure of the recipient’s choice. It also has a loyalty program, the membership of which brings discounts.
